Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Commissions due upon termination

My employer changed my payplan 1 month prior to terminating me. The old payplan paid commissions when invoiced, the new payplan paid when the customer paid the invoice. The result is I have not been paid since July and was terminated September 23rd. When are my commissions due? Should I send an itemized written request for payment?

Re: Commissions due upon termination

Appears he had plans of his own. Sue him in small claims court if amount less than $5,000.00 or you are willing to reduce amount owed to you to $5,000.00. Otherwise sue in regular Superior Court. If possible, file claim with Labor Board. Call to discuss.
