Legal Question in Employment Law in California
If a company has virtual empolyees in several different states (that work from their home,) what state labor/employement laws (overtime and exempt status) would the company have to follow? The state that each employee works in or the state were the company is based?

This has been a debatable issue in the courts, but in my opinion, the state the employee works in is the state where labor laws apply.
