Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Compensation for flight time for non-exempt employee

I am traveling via airplane to a company meeting. I am told by my employer I am only paid for the time I am in the air, not the time I arrive at the airport, and then paid for the actual meeting time as well. A fellow employee thinks California law states we are to be paid for airport waiting, as well as traveling from our destination airport to our hotel to check in and during our meeting. What is the law for non-exempt employees?

Re: Compensation for flight time for non-exempt employee

you should be paid for ALL time spent on the job. I would think that would include all travel time.
