Legal Question in Employment Law in California
None compliance with employment contract
My employment contract states I must be paid all expenses and pay through the last day of employment. It is now 50 days past my last day and still have not received expenses nor my last month of commissions.
When brought to their attention, I was told they had cut the expense check that morning, yet now 8 days later I still have not received the check. I also asked for my commission registers to check what had been paid. I still have not received that. I was told by the corporate HR person that they would be investigating the matter of the commissions, however I shouldn't demand reports and so forth by certain dates because their attitude was "oh yea, we'll just see what happens"

Re: None compliance with employment contract
you need to file a complaint with the state labor commissioner. they will not pay you otherwise.
