Can a corporation force you to sign a paper stating that you may be fired at any time without reasoning?

No, but they can fire you if you refuse, or for no reason. So all they are asking you to do is acknowledge you have been informed of the right the law already gives the employer. Every CA employer has the right to fire an employee for no reason at all, or for any reason as long as it is not based on illegal discrimination, such as racial, old age, or gender based discrimination. They can even fire you because they decide you are too young. Only age discrimination against people for being too old is illegal.
