Legal Question in Employment Law in California

My co-worker made our supervisor mad and as a result, the supervisor ended up punching and kicking my co-worker. The next day our supervisor handed my co-worker a warning. What can my co-worker do about his situation?

Your co-worker should have called the police. He or she was the victim of the crime of assault and battery. It is still not too late but it is less likely the police will arrest the supervisor. If you witnessed it, you should support your co-worker as well. You should also have your co-worker contact an employment law attorney to discuss this further.
