Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Is a customer complaint valid for my termination?

I have been warned once about bad customer service. After I was warned about bad customer service the second time, I was fired on the spot. I was never given the opportunity to express my side of the story on each complaint and I strongly believe that the complaints were fabricated. Can I be fired for this reason, without prior notice?

Generally, no notice is required and they can fire you for any reason.
