Damaged property

I am ulicensed but did a job for a licensed company (Hardwood floors) at a customers house, I accidently broke a sliding glass door, am I responsible for the entire cost of the damage?

Generally an unlicensed contractor is considered to be an employee of the property owner ot general contractor. Employers are responsible for damage caused by their employees
