Legal Question in Employment Law in California

daycare

My job has promised me a schedule which my manger been asking tme to take since october that made me switch my daughter daycare around then a week before the new schedule was about to start they said i could have it. i moved my daughter daycare days around to covenience them and now her old spot is full can the fire me to not being able to go back to my old schedule or make me get a new daycare provider

If you are an at-will employee and not a contract employee your employer can fire you for any reason as long as it is not an illegal reason (race, age, etc.)
