Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Possible Defamation by two members of executive management?

If members of executive management say things about you (specifically computer network sabotage to other employees and you have proof that they are untrue (everything gets logged in a computer network and I have proof that the sabotage was caused by their own stupidity) what are my legal rights if I am fired for theese accusations? Or if I am not fired but now I am labled a "saboteur" throughout the company (which currently I am). Is this defamation or slander? If so...what do those things really mean for me? What I can do legally? I know that an employer can say anything if it is ture but keep in mind I have PROOF on paper that the accusations are false. Any advise would be welcomed.

If you have documented proof that you have been defamed by your employer and its managing agents, it may be in your best interest to seek the advice of legal counsel immediately. You probably should start your quest to clear your good name and image immediately, rather than later. You might want to start with a local employment law attorney who is familiar with defamation and your rights as an employee.
