Discrimination Yes or No

Is it illegal for a lending institution to discriminate against an applicants income because they are on strike? i.e. Not using thier normal income because they are currently on strike.

If you have no means of income, even if temporary, can you blame a bank or lending institution for not giving you a loan? Often unions have strike funds. Have you investigated that means? If you can tap equity in your home, you might want to look into that, as well. Hopefully, the strike will resolve soon to the mutual benefit of your employer and you and your colleagues.
