Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Discrimination Question

A supervisor of mine has conspired and threatened to have me discharged from my job position in preference for a new employee. I've been at this company for years, my employment record and work performance is well above average, I have merits, awards and promotions to back it up.

This supervisors threat cannot be based on a "personal dislike" of me because I've never met or worked with him -- although he HAS met and worked with the new employee he wants to install in my position, who incidentally happens to be of a different ethnicity than myself.

This threatened discharge cannot possibly be based on my performance or a personal dislike. It must be based on some other illegal motive.

I am wondering, do I have a case of Employment Discrimination emerging here?

Re: Discrimination Question

no you do not. I see nothing in the facts you state to indicate the violation of any law.
