Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Dismissal
I have submitted my 2 weeks notice to my employer. Right after that I was not scheduled for those two weeks. I would like to know if my employer broke any laws because of it. I have asked one of the managers why I have not been schedules and she replied by saying " I do not know". Please reply
thank you

Re: Dismissal
In the absence of any employment agreement between you and your employer to continue your employment, your employer was not required to employ you during your two weeks notice period.
