Re: Dress codes in employment
Employers must provide and maintain uniforms when uniforms are required to be worn by the employee, as a condition of their employment. An employer may require a reasonable deposit, to be paid by the employee, as security for the return of the uniform.
Re: Dress codes in employment
The employer must provide and pay for required clothing if the clothing is distinctive, with the employer's name or logo, or if the clothing can not be used for any other purpose. If the requirement is general, such as dark pants and white shirt, the employer need not pay.
