If an employee does not use her paid vacation for the current year, is she entitled to have her unpaid vacation days carry over to the next year in California?

Once vacation pay has been earned, it cannot be forfeited. Use it or lose it policies are not valid in California. However, employers may put a cap on how many vacations days an employee can earn.
