Employeer fires employee after returning to work after 4 weeks of approved Medic
My daughter worked for a small company, less than 50 employees, Had been there approx. 4 months before becoming pregnant and getting so ill she needed time off. She was seen by a doctor every week during her time off. She had given her employer a note each week saying she was being treated. She had a return to work note to return today, 10/23, then she was promptly fired. They said they had to let her go because she missed too much work. Can they do that?
