Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Employer breached employment verbal agreement to increase my hourly rate of $12 per hour after 3 months with glowing reviews after I declined better paying offers on his request. Everything is in writing on my personnel file. What relief is available to me?

If you can prove there was a firm agreement to increase your wage to $12 per hour after 3 months employment, you can either file a claim with the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement or sue within the appropriate court jurisdiction for breach of contract. The statute of limitations for breach of an oral agreement is 3 years.
