Legal Question in Employment Law in California
My employer cancels me over a less senior employee because she states she can be pulled out to a different unit for a short period of time to help out on that unit leaving her unit with patients in it without a nurse. Manager said it's okey because the nurse has a phone that she carries even if she is not physically in the unit. Isn't that an abandonment?
