Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Employer has several very close friends in deparment and employees, due to loyalty that are untouchable. Though these employees make more accounting errors then others - they will never be fired, while management harasses others. Is this legal?

Nepotism is not illegal. Harassment may be actionable, but you do not describe what you contend constitutes harassment.
Favoritism is also not illegal, provided it is not based on race, gender, religion, or several other categories of protected status.
You should contact an employee-side labor lawyer if you have any questions about your particular situation. Many will offer a free initial consultation.
