Employer ask compensation for short Notice
wuz hired on an h-1-B by a consulting company from India.
due to personal prblms,had to take leave and then resign
while on leave.Employer Now asking compensation for short notice
/breaking contract.They send a lawyer notice.
Is bonded labor valid in california...?pls. advice
what is at will employement..?

Employment is always at will unless you have a specific contract that states otherwise.
