Employer demands that employee stay in his sight during rest break

I have a manager that for no reason at all demanded that i stay at our w

ork sight during my morning break. Isthis leagal?

The employer can regulate the location of employees during a rest period. If you are relieved of all work duties, can eat a snack and/or go to the bathroom, your employer's requirement that you remain near your work site is not unlawful
