i have a mediation soon with ex-employer want to know what happens at a medation are all parties in the room together is there a judge present do we all talk abouy the case or what

The mediator will hear both sides, will then separate the parties and try to talk to them into compromising and finding middle grounds. Mediation is a good faith attempt of parties to settle their differences. Generally it is not binding and if it proves ineffective, court action is still available.
