Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Employer forcing different work hours

Hi,

I have worked from 7am - 4pm for the last 3 years at my job. I recently got a new boss and he's forcing me to work from 8am - 5pm. This is a hardship for me because I have to take care of my parents whom I support at home. Do I have any recourse to this? Is there any law against this?

thanks for your help.

Your employers can decide the schedules they want you to work.
