Legal Question in Employment Law in California
my employer handed the employees a contract to sign stating that if they should quit or leave their job with her office they were banned from working with the ex-owner of this practice for 5 years. Is this legal??

The attorney above is correct. It is not legal because it violates the California Business and Professions Code Section 16600-16607.
