Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Is there any way to get my employer to pay me?

My employer doesn't have a contracters liscence, and pays me under the table, but hasn't paid me in over a month. Is there anything I can do?

You know all this and you continue... File a complaint with the labor board if you are an employee and you likely are unless you have an independent contractor's license. You will be responsible for taxes if he claims wages paid or monies paid as an independent contractor. In addition, if he is contracting without a license and you know this, what makes you think he would be straight and honest with you?
