employer over pay
Please help. I just started working for a company and was signed on as a mgr. my pay was $9hr plus mgr commissions on a bi-weekly pay schedule. my first check was $1800+ my second check was $1800+ and my 3rd check the same. on my 4th check which is now almost 2 mths my check is $800. My HR informed me that they had been over paying me on my first 3 checks for my mgr commissions. they want me to sign a agreement to repay them. i was never informed how much the mgr bonus levels worked so i thought everything was fine. now they want me to sign an agreement to repay them $2888.00. thats more then i make in almost 2 mths. if i quit can they keep my last check? do I have to sign and agreement to repay them?

Hi.
You don't have to sign an agreement. If you quit, they must pay your wages in full within 72 hours of your quitting or if you give them a 72 hour notice of intent to terminate your employment, they must pay you all your wages in full immediately at the end of your employment.
