Legal Question in Employment Law in California
My Employer is not reimbursing me. Had a written agreement of paying me .50 cents a mile for the months of Feb, March, April and May. I'm a caregiver and my job requires me to take client from A to B . Do I need to report this to the state of California or do i file a lawsuit and get a lawyer?
I keep calling my boss/ employment. She keeps on telling me my clients family is not paying my company for the mileage .

If there is a written agreement or policy of the employer that you would be reimbursed for mileage and if the driving is part of your job responsibilities, which it sounds like that was the case, then yes.�
