Legal Question in Employment Law in California
Employer responsible Arbitration Pmt.
Arbitration judgement delivered 11/18/2001. Former employer has been dragging feet in payment $2,550.00. Decision will not be opened until full payment is delivered. I do not have the money. How long can they legally wait to pay? My attorney is of no help.

Re: Employer responsible Arbitration Pmt.
If your question is: what do you do when your employer fails to pay the cost of the arbitrator and the arbitrator refuses to issue a decision until payment is received, the only remedy is for your attorney to go into court to compel the employer to complete the arbitration.
