Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Employer Retaliation

Can my employer take legal action against me? I have filed a grievance with my employer for discriminatory behavior and I know my allegations to be true, but perhaps difficult to prove to the Advisory Board who will review the case. Can my employer take any action against me and if so, what? Thanks for your response.
