Legal Question in Employment Law in California

My employer has me turn in a timesheet to report before my hours are fully worked each week. Sometimes I have to predict what my hours might be. I'm currently having some travel hours that I had to predict a week early be contested. Is their process even legal to begin with?

I recommend that you contact the Employment Law Center, a project of the San Francisco Bar Association or the California Labor Commissioner's office. The practice you are describing does not seem to be appropriate.
