Employer's Liability for Employee Vehicle Damage.
Is there any provision in the California Labor Code that holds an employer responsible for damages to an employee's vehicle if the employee is involved in an accident arising out of the course of his employment?

Re: Employer's Liability for Employee Vehicle Damage.
If the employee is required to use his vehicle for company business, Labor Code Section 2802 could require the employer to reimburse the employee for damages in the event of an accident. Generally employers should require employees to carry their own insurance, including collision and comprehensive coverage. The employer's policies should reflect that the milage reimbursment paid to the employee INCLUDES the cost of such insurance.
