How many days does an employer have to give an employee thier final check after he or she quits.

In California, an employer has 72 hours, 3 days, in which to pay an employee that quits. If however, the employee gives the employer at least 3 days notice of their intention to quit, the employer must pay the employee immediately at termination of employment.
