Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I am an EMT and I work for a private ambulance company in California. I got a parking ticket for the ambulance while dropping off a patient at a medical facility. My company is making me pay for the ticket. Since the ticket is attached to the vehicle and not my name, Is this legal for my company to do?

No. They are legally obligated to indemnify you for job related liability. On the other hand they can pay it and then fire you for it with impunity. Your call.
