Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I am ex-employee of a Fed. agency and I filed EEOC complaint (discrimination based on sex, nationality, and retaliation), but MSJ was granted to the opposing agency by EEOC Judge. I appealed to EEOC Director. EEOC received my appeal 5 month ago, they still have 1 month before 180 days expire. This August I also filed a case with US District Court based on breach of contract, wrongful termination, management malpractice, AND violation of Equal Pay Act based on sex (I believe that I have 2 to 3 years time frame to do that. My last day of employment was in Feb.08). According to EEOC rules I must notify EEOC that I filed a civil lawsuit, though it's not clear if should I do it in case I have brought different complaints?
I cannot afford an attorney at this time.

Many employment attorneys will handle an employment discrimination or pay case on a contingency basis. You should seek out competent legal counsel. You might check out the California Employment Lawyers Association website to locate an employment attorney near you.
