Legal Question in Employment Law in California

False Accusation of Harassment

Yesterday I was informed that a former

subordinate has accused me of

harassment. Rather than investigating

the allegations, I was forced to resign. I

have done nothing wrong, yet I have

lost my job. What can I do.

False Accusation of Harassment

Hello.

False accusations of harassment at workplace are as common, or even more common, that actual harassment and often give rise to a claim for defamation. I would need to know more facts about your employment and resignation to determine that. If you would like to discuss this, feel free to follow up.
