Legal Question in Employment Law in California

false personnel evaluation

is there any recourse if a manager writes false information in your personnel evaluation? i have attempted to refute her allegations but she insists she has witnesses to back up her claim. i have offered to resign because it appears we are at an impass regarding any resolution, but they are not willing to compensate me what i'm asking. (they are offering me two weeks and i have refused that.) what is my recourse if they fire me after they have agreed to pay me something?

Re: false personnel evaluation

We are an at will employment state so they do not need a reason to fire you and unless there is an agreement that says otherwise you are not entitled to any severance pay.
