Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Family Members employed in one workplace

I work in a small company -- less than 15 employees. Three sisters work in this company. One is an office manager. The two others work for each of the two main officers. These three individuals have a lot of power. Is a family member of the same family where other members are employed legally allowed to hold a supervisory position in the same firm? If there is favoritism towards them could there be a cause of action?

There's no law that bans family members from working in the same company. If you feel that you are under so much stress that it's very difficult to do your job, you might talk to a worker's compensation attorney to determine your rights.
