Family - school partnership act

1- Am i required to provide documented notice prior to the leave or is a verbal notice o.k. 2-is a two day advance notice generaly considered enough time for the employere.we have no specific time frame for this leave in our collective bargaining agreement. 3-can the employer deny you the leave because of manpower problems ie.(other vacations, bad attendence buy other employees that day.).4-can they choose how many hours of the 8 per month your allowed to use.5-I am the only employee who is required paperwork before and after the leave!some have been denied after giving 45 days notice

You said a collective bargaining agreement is involved. I don't think any lawyer could fairly answer your questions without reviewing it. These agreements aren't standard.
