Legal Question in Employment Law in California

A fellow employee and I had argued about him being defiant. It them escaladed to him saying to me "Dont be suprised if you get hit". I then asked him by who would I being getting hit. He hesistated and then said "I dont know, by a customer". Hes kept making similar remarks about me "getting punched". He never said he would do it himself. But my concern is now, is hes going to get someone to do it? I want to know what legal action I could take if any.
