Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Felony - Getting rehired at former company?

I was convicted of a felony at the time I was employed with a certain company. The conviction has to do with a sex crime. The company knows all the details of what happened. They encouraged me to reapply after I served my time. I have reapplied for the same position I help before. Now they are saying I am not qualified enough for the position. They claim that what happened before has no bearing on this now. But I KNOW I am VERY qualified for the position. Is there anything I can do? Thanks!

Re: Felony - Getting rehired at former company?

Aside from looking for the same position in a different company, you cannot make your previous employer rehire you.
