Legal Question in Employment Law in California

How do I file for wrongfull termination in a public court system?

I went to a lawyer about my case and they told me that I have one, yet they want too much money for a retainer and I dont have the money for that. I was told I could get a public defender and take my case to court and put my self on trail, is this true and if so how do I do it. Do I take the company or the union to court?

No, you cannot get a public defender. you must either hire a lawyer or do the paperwork yourself.
