Legal Question in Employment Law in California

Final Paycheck Resignation CA...

I have been offered a final paycheck which was due July 21 (72 hours after resignation) . I submitted a ''final demand letter'' outlining penalties for non-compliance. The check does NOT reflect the owed wages for damages. If check says ''paid in full'' should I accept it?

An employer cannot condition the payment of wages due, on releasing them from any other claims. You can still file a claim with the Labor Board for penalties.
