Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I was fired for accruing too many points for missing work due to illness. My employer just discontinued to "point system" because they found out it was illegal for them to enforce such a program. Do I have any recourse?

If you were absent due to a disability or serious health condition, as those terms are defined by California law, your termination may have been illegal. You should consult with an employment attorney for a personalized evaluation of your legal rights.
