Legal Question in Employment Law in California

i was fired from my job for trust issue i worked for a bank and they made a error and deposited money into my account and because i didnt say anything about it and used some of it but put it back when they needed to fix it i was considered a possible loss to the company is it right for them to fire me and would i have a case because i personally think some one just didnt like me because tech. there was no loss when they corrected the error all the money was there

Let me get this straight. You knew the bank made an error and deposited money that did not belong to you and you did not say anything and even spent some of it knowing it wasn't your money? And you question why they had a trust issue? Sorry, the no harm no foul defense does not work in the employment world. You will be lucky if you qualify for unemployment benefits under this scenario.
