Legal Question in Employment Law in California
How can I force receivership to pay unpaid wage claims?
After batting the civil court for over 5 weeks and the labor board not being able to do anything for quite a while I would like to know what steps I can take to force the court appointed receivership of the restaurant I used to manage to uphold what is stated in code 1204 of the California code and pay me the $6,000 they owe me. The Judge of the court is of no help to me, the attorney for the receivership just refuses to instruct his clients to pay me. What can I do? Very frustrated at the system!

you need to get a judgment and then execute it on any assets the business has.

I suggest you consult an attorney who can look at your papers and give you personal advice. The cost should not be very expensive and will be well worth the savings in frustration.
