forced 2 pay 4 medical benefits package

is it legal for the school i am employed at to force me to take on the expense of a medical benifits package (nearly $300.oo per month) that I don't want. i am already covered through my spouse. i don't want it and they are telling me it is a no option plan.

It depends what your collective bargaining agreement states. Talk to the union representative.
