Forced Vacation to end term of employment contract

I had an employment contract that ended on August 31. I had banked 7 weeks of vacation pay. On July 16 I was told to clean out my office, turn in my keys and not that I was now on vaction till the end of the employment contract.

Question? Was I terminated on 7/16/01, and the contract breached or is it legal to force a salaried employee to take vacation.

they can force you to take the vacation as long as they pay it.
