Legal Question in Employment Law in California
I have two friends that work in Santa Clarita for a small company that has a contract with the city to clean bus stop. They are paid "under the table", are not given proper equipment(Company signs for the truck, yellow work lights for the truck). After working for Several months the company has not provided a valid garbage disposal bin after asking for one since they have worked there . My friends are told to just find dumpsters where ever they can(illegal dumping). if they refuse to work until he gets a proper bin, and get fired do they have legal recourse?

Not if they don't report it to the city agency that supervises the contract first.
