Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I gave mt employer my 2 week notice. Last thursday was my last day. 5/14/15. I was not paid out for my work time that week or my vacation & accrued vacation time. What are my options? I wanted my money the last day i worked. They said i could have a debit card or check & i said what ever is easier but still did not get either. Today is saturday 5/16/15.

Your employer was required to pay all wages plus any earned and unused vacation time - on your last day since you gave at least 72 hours of notice. As such, you are owed your wages, including vacation pay plus one day's pay for each day you have to wait - up to 30 days and the law states that your former employer "shall" pay your attorneys' fees. My blog is www.employmentlawattorneyca.com. A demand letter from an employment law attorney may get what is owed to you plus his/her fee.

I agree with Ms.Karila. You could send your former employer an email or seek out legal representation to protect your rights. Regards, Robert Worth.
