Legal Question in Employment Law in California

I gave two weeks notice, but they walked me early

I provided a written letter of my resignation effective 2 weeks from the date on the letter. My boss said fine and I worked another 3 days after that. I called in sick on my 4th day. He called me in the afternoon and asked me to come in to complete paperwork and part ways. Does he still have to pay me through the end of my two weeks and my sick day?
